We are very excited about three things this week: (1) our field trip on May 30th to Crimson Lake Provincial Park, (2) the larvae that are currently residing in our classroom (hopefully to become butterflies), and (3) the monthly assembly on May 28. Let’s remember our goal of being respectful to ourselves and each other!

This Week We Are Learning:
Science: We are working on our Small Crawling and Flying Animals unit.
Math: Students are working on number sense and measurement.
Language Arts: Students are working on a Creepy Crawlies and Insects unit.
Word sorts: Word sorts were sent home last week with your child; please practice with them.
Home reading: Please read with your child for 20 minutes, three times a week.
Library: We have library on Mondays; please ensure library books are sent back to be exchanged.
Social: Our unit takes us to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Ukrainian traditions.

- Crimson Lake Field Trip: We will be going on a field trip to Crimson Lake Provincial Park to study and learn about bugs, insects, creepy crawlies, and other cool creatures on May 30th. If you are coming as a volunteer, please ensure you have your Criminal Record Check as well as your Child Welfare Check in to the office. Thank you!
