In the role of a guide for our local Nature Centre, your job is to inform visitors (other students) about the small animals found along the bike path trails in Rocky.
To prepare for your job, you need to make a guidebook about local animals in the Nature Centre. In order to make the guidebook, you must:
- Select three small local animals.
- Find information about these animals. Use resources found in the classroom, the library or on the computer.
- Draw or find a picture of each animal.
- List the basic needs of each animal.
- Identify a special characteristic that helps each animal survive in its environment.
- Record the information about the animals in the guidebook.
Your supervisor (the teacher) will need to review your guidebook when it is finished. You will then use this guidebook as a reference when informing visitors about the small animals found in the Nature Centre.
