Healthy Active School Challenges - May
12th-16th: No dessert after supper each night
19th-23rd: Go for a walk after school each day
26th-30th: Eat your favorite vegetable each day
This Week We Are Learning:
Science: We are starting a brand new unit on Small Crawling and Flying Animals….so much fun!
Math: Students are working on number sense and measurement.
Language Arts: Students are starting a new unit based on Creepy Crawlies and Small Animals; any related books or stories are encouraged during class time!
Word sorts: The word sorts were sent home last week; please practice the words with your child.
Home reading: Please read with your child for 20 minutes, three times a week.
Library: We have library on Mondays; please ensure library books are sent back to be exchanged.
Social: We have finished our Meteghan unit and will be embarking on a new journey to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

- Progress Reports: Please read, review (with your child), and sign the progress reports.
- School Supply Lists: On May 7th, your child brought home a School Supply List. Please keep this list for next year, even if you are not ordering from it, as this list will be the ONLY list you will receive for supplies next year.
- Jump Rope For Heart: Please remember to send in your Jump Rope For Heart donations and pledge forms by WEDNESDAY MAY 14th, 2014! We will be having the celebration and jump rope competition on May 15th; please join us in celebrating for a good cause!
