Special Events & Projects
- Websites: We have started our very own websites!! They are not published yet (as we need to do a little more work!) but we are learning about using our Chromebooks to do fun and exciting web design and blogging. Usernames and passwords will go home this week, if a student would like to blog or work on their webpage at home.
- Loonies and Toonies for the Philippines: The Peacemakers at Lochearn School are collecting loonies and toonies for people affected by the typhoon in the Philippines. The Red Cross will match our donations. The last day for donations is December 5.
- Christmas Concert: The concert will be 45 minutes long and we appreciate everyone staying for the entire show! The Grade 2s will be singing a song from Germany and we would like to dress the students in traditional costumes. We are in need of (for children aged 6-8): white shirts, long black or brown shorts, tall white socks, and suspenders (if available). Please send any items with your child or come see us before/after school. Thank you!
